Miss Gretel is the Studio Director at Gretel’s Dance Studio. She began her dance training at the age of three. She continued her training with Paula Vreulink, Paula Morgan, Finis Jhung, Dennis Caspary, Dee Caspary, Tina Cyphert, Tonya Chianis, and other sought after dance instructors at some of the country's finest institutions of dance.
Miss Gretel attended numerous workshops and master classes such as the Young Choreographers Workshop, Paula Morgan’s Dance Intensive, Finis Jhung Teachers Training Workshop, and Co. Dance Convention.
Miss Gretel received a comprehensive study of various performing arts forms such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Character Dance (Irish, Mexican, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, African, Latin, etc.), Acting, and Singing.
As a performer, Miss Gretel danced with numerous Southland dance companies such as Southern California Dance Theater and performed in its annual production of The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia.
Miss Gretel received numerous first place awards at local, state, national, and international dance competitions including K.A.R. Productions, Showstomper, Starpower, Way Outer Broadway, and Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition.
In areas of fitness, Miss Gretel earned her PiYo (Pilates & Yoga) teacher certification from Powder Blue Productions. She is also a vegan and cooks her own delicious meals. She has studied the teachings of Harvey & Marilyn Diamond, Deepak Chopra, Eric Franklin, Valerie Grieg, Lisa Howell, Zena Rommett, and Deborah Vogal in holistic health, nutrition, and injury prevention.
In areas of spiritual development, Miss Gretel’s primary intuitive gift is Clairsentience, as she is an Empath. Clairsentience is the ability to feel the movements of energy and to feel empathically what other people feel. She has a deep interest in the metaphysical and developing her psychic abilities. She started with the use of meditation and then expended her abillities toward past-life regression, clairvoyant messages, channeling, remote viewing, astral projection, and telepathy.
She can now communicate with spirit guides, angels, spirits, and other astral beings.
In addition to Miss Gretel’s psychic gifts, she is certified in Pranic Healing and in Shiatsu Massage. A few of her most influential spiritual mentors include Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Greg Baer, and Sonia Choquette.
It brings Miss Gretel great inner peace and joy to inspire her dancers by leading them on a journey toward greater empowerment, self-discovery, spiritual awareness, and connection to their higher selves through the art of dance.
